Hello! I’m Danielle–but you probably figured that out already. This is my little corner of the Internet.

Like many folks, I have blogged on and off since I had my first Xanga as a teenager. I remember the good ol’ days of posting inside jokes from the goofball adolescent adventures of my friends. I’m not quite sure where this version of my blog is going to take me, but for now it’s here to offer an outlet for those things I don’t get to write about in my day job.

I am a graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, and a former copy editor at The News-Herald in Willoughby, Ohio. And again, like many before me, I made the transition from journalism to PR and marketing. I currently am the Communications Director for the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS.

The posts in this blog are my own thoughts and opinions. Take a look around, and don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you want to connect!

Danielle — I clicked on your link accidentally, but I am glad that I did. I too am blogging just random thoughts (I just started last week) and you caught my attention. I am 66 and retired. You have your whole life ahead of you. So, always keep a positive attitude and whenever you can, travel somewhere to see something that you’ve never seen before. You will learn about others and more about yourself. Keep on giggling because laughter always makes things better. I’m gonna follow ya and look forward to what you have to say about discovering yourself. It is a ride no doubt like a roller coaster with vast opportunities. Paul

Thanks, Paul! I’m happy to share the blogosphere with someone else who is posting their random thoughts. Look forward to following you as well!

Hi Danielle, I am writing to you because i was recently diagnosed with myositis ossificans and no one has ever heard of it!
You are the only person on the internet i can find who has had this. I live in PA- not too far from Ohio. I wanted to know if yours ever went away, and any other info you can share. It is great to see pictures of you back in shape and doing fun things again. (I miss my gym classes.) Anything you can share about this rare, weird myositis would be so appreciated.

    Thanks! Michele
